Yard House, the American fusion restaurant under construction at The Banks, will open its doors at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 24.
The chain’s menu offers more than 130 items, including pastas, sandwiches, street tacos, burgers, pizzas, seafood, steaks and more. It’s also known for its extensive draft beer selection – 160 taps of craft ales and lagers — and rock playlist. Checks average $14 at lunch and $22 at dinner.
Beginning Tuesday, the restaurant will accept applications for 200 positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts, cooks, dishwashers and more. Those interested can apply at the restaurant’s temporary hiring center inside the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, 50 East Freedom Way (across the street from the new restaurant, which will be the chain’s 44th location). Applicants should check in at the North Star Café on the Freedom Center’s ground level.
