Take a peek inside The Banks’ newest tenant: Yard House

The first Yard House in Ohio opens Sunday, March 24 at The Banks in downtown Cincinnati.

“Cincinnati is a great fit for Yard House,” Harald Herrmann, president of Yard House Restaurants, said in a news release. “It’s a city with a rich history in beer and a booming culinary scene, which is the perfect combination for our restaurant.”

Yard House is an upscale casual restaurant known for its American fusion menu and bar that has 160 taps of draft beer. The Cincinnati location will have a handful of taps for local Cincinnati breweries, including craft beers from Angry Orchard, Mt. Carmel, Rivertown and Christian Moerlein.

The restaurant’s Keg Room houses hundreds of barrels of beer, which is transported through miles of overhead steel and nylon tubing to feed into the taps at the center island bar.

The average lunch check is $14, for dinner it’s $22.

Yard House is located at 95 E. Freedom Way, just south of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
