Banks announces another coming tenant

The Banks’ master development team announced Tuesday that Jefferson Social, a neighborhood bar and restaurant serving Mexican street food, will locate at the Banks in April 2013.

Jefferson Social will occupy 4,040 square feet at the corner of Freedom Way and Walnut Street.

“Our focus will be on serving artisanal drinks with freshly squeezed juices and quality liquors, and serving tacos and nachos made with fresh ingredients,” said Tony Cafeo, founder and owner of Jefferson Social, in a news release. “Customers will be able to enjoy themselves in a design and layout conducive to socializing, eating, dancing and partying.”

Cafeo is also the owner of several other restaurant and bar properties in the Cincinnati area, including Jefferson Hall at Newport on the Levee and the soon-to-open Incline Public House in Price Hill.

With this addition, and the recent announcement of Jimmy John’s plans to locate at The Banks in spring 2013, Phase 1A of The Banks project is now 91 percent leased, with only one space still available for occupancy.
